PA Classics Harrisburg Soccer Program Overview:

PA Classics Harrisburg's Travel Soccer Program serves as the progressive and competitive bridge for players advancing from recreational to more competitive soccer. Offering a heightened level of play, the program is tailored to challenge participants and enhance their skills. Here are the key highlights:

Team Structure:

• The Travel soccer program features three teams: Black (1st team), Blue (2nd team), and White (3rd team).
• Team availability is contingent on demand and exceptional talent within specific age groups.

Coaching and Training:

• Teams enjoy year-round training, ensuring continuous player development.
• Most teams benefit from the expertise of professional coaches.
• Two weekly practice sessions are held during both the Fall and Spring seasons.
• Over the winter months, teams will have one practice with their coach, and another session will be offered with the club.
• Some teams will have additional training and events, based on need and determined by the coach.

Competition Levels:

• All teams engage in the highest level of competition suitable for their skill level, ensuring a dynamic and challenging experience tailored to each teams abilities.
• Increased competition levels often correlate with extended travel distances.
• Some teams embark on out-of-state travel for special events.

Leagues and Tournaments:

• Teams actively participate in various leagues throughout the season. (CPYSL, APL, EDP & USYS NL P.R.O.)
• Teams will also attend tournaments.  Quantity, location and level of events will vary per team.
• The program seeks to provide a challenging yet competitive environment within each team's skill level.

Showcase Events for College Recruiting:

• Older teams are presented with unique opportunities to attend "showcase events."
• These events serve as platforms for players to showcase their abilities, with a specific focus on college recruiting.
• Some higher level teams will have the opportunity to travel and compete in National level events.

Commitment Expectations:

• As the skill level of the team increases, along with the level of competition, so does the expectation of attendance.
